Our Distribution and Sales teams cultivate relationships with insurance brokers and clients, delivering solutions that support growing organizations and their employees.What You'll DoPhase 1: Formal Training ProgramYou will begin your journey with a comprehensive training experience that includes:Classroom and virtual instruction on group insurance products, systems, and sales processesHands-on exercises focused on quoting, proposal development, and sales operationsExposure to internal partners including underwriting, pricing, product, marketing, and service and claim operationsCompany-sponsored licensing to enable you to sell group insurance productsMentorship, coaching, and structured learning milestonesPhase 2: Sales Desk Placement & DevelopmentUpon successful completion of training, you will:Support quoting and proposal generation for employer groups in the select market (50-250 lives)Own the end-to-end RFP process from intake to proposal deliveryTrack quote activity and maintain systemsAssist with implementation coordination and onboardingExecute all phases of the renewal cycle for select accounts including plan design changes, underwriting review, and renewal deliveryPartner with Sales Desk Lead and sales representatives within assigned region to drive growth within the select marketPhase 3: Progression into Sales RolesAs you build experience, you will transition into a Sales Representative or Account Executive role where you will:Manage broker and client relationships within assigned book of businessPromote NYLGBS products and solutions through active market engagementDrive new business opportunities through broker partnershipsAct as a trusted partner to internal and external stakeholdersWhat You'll BringStrong communication, organization, and attention to detailCustomer-focused mindsetAbility to manage multiple prioritiesWillingness to learn and growBachelor's degree preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce a plusPay TransparencySalary Range: $65,000-$92,500Overtime eligible: ExemptDiscretionary bonus eligible: YesSales bonus eligible: NoActual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
