Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dependable, hands‑on Maintenance Technician to help keep our 99‑bed skilled nursing facility safe, comfortable, and running smoothly for our residents and staff. This is a great opportunity for someone with general maintenance experience who enjoys problem-solving, working with their hands, and being part of a team that makes a difference every day. Responsibilities Assist with the day‑to‑day maintenance and upkeep of the facility and grounds Perform general repairs and maintenance as directed Complete routine preventative maintenance throughout the building Assist with monitoring and maintaining facility systems, including water temperatures, call lights, generators, fire alarms, and other required maintenance logs Respond promptly to maintenance and repair needs Identify supply, equipment, and repair needs and communicate them to the Maintenance Supervisor Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors Coordinate with other departments as needed Assist with additional maintenance projects and responsibilities throughout the facility Requirements Previous maintenance experience preferred General knowledge of building maintenance and repair Basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, or similar hands‑on experience is a plus Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete assigned repairs Dependable with strong time‑management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional and respectful when interacting with residents, families, staff, and visitors Ability to follow safety procedures and written and verbal instructions Comfortable working in a long‑term care/skilled nursing environment Benefits Stable work environment in a 99‑bed skilled nursing facility Supportive team and leadership Opportunity to use a variety of maintenance skills Meaningful work that directly contributes to the safety and comfort of our residents Full Benefits package: Healthcare/Dental/Vision & 401(k) #J-18808-Ljbffr CareCore at Montgomery
