Facilities TechnicianMaintain and operate all HVAC systems, chillers, plumbing systems, building management system, generators, compressed air systems in a 24 hrs. / 7 day a week manufacturing process.Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain and operate all HVAC systems, chillers, plumbing systems, building management system, generators, compressed air systemsPerform PM and corrective maintenance on all HVAC equipment and coordinate with 3rd party contractors as neededPrepare and submit summary reports of equipment conditions with recommendation for improvementComply with all safety procedures and requirementsMaintain compliance to City, County, State ordinances and codesSupport any afterhours building needs and activities as requiredDelivers proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies, promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practicesAbility to use hand tools and power tools applicable to tradeRequired Skill:Valid driver's licenseCurrent Refrigeration Certification2-10 years of related experienceKnowledge of HVAC installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenanceExperienced with chillers and compressed air systems and their control systemsProficient in reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawingsMaintain detailed and accurate equipment repair recordsEstablish and maintain a good working relationship with peers, suppliers, and contractorsAbility to work after hours as neededGood written, verbal, and interpersonal skillsEducation/Experience:High School or equivalent 3 to 5 years with facilities Maintenance of manufacturing process or equivalent Large Facilities maintenance and Manufacturing experience preferredAdditional Skills:Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot process related issuesAble to collaborate across organizational boundariesResults oriented and high commitmentData analysis and interpretation skillsHands-on, Self-Starter and able to work with minimal directionStrong mechanical/electrical fundamental understandingThe ability to learn new technology and processes quicklyFlexible and adaptableSelf-motivated, accepts responsibility, positive attitudeExperience with Maximo CMMS system for maintenanceThe range for this position is $28.00 hourly rate - $32.50 hourly rate. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
