Office Specialist - Front Desk (Main Street Clinic)

Join Davis Behavioral Health as a Full‑Time Office Specialist – Front Desk at our Main Street Clinic in Layton, UT. This onsite position offers a unique opportunity to be a Customer Service Expert in a customer‑centric environment. The role pays $18.25 per hour. Responsibilities Gather client and insurance information efficiently. Request, collect, and process copayments at the time of service. Communicate appointment details while working within the electronic medical record system and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Answer phones, screen calls, and relay messages to appropriate sources. Monitor the clinic lobby to maintain safety, security, and professionalism. Manage group room scheduling and coordinate with team members regarding appointments. Perform various office operations to support a customer‑centric care environment. Qualifications Minimum of two years of exemplary customer service experience. At least 18 years of age. Successful completion of a pre‑employment criminal background check. Successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screening; not currently using illegal drugs or abusing alcohol, and no medical marijuana use. Strong verbal communication skills and a demonstrated professional customer service track record. Ability to show compassion and respect to clients and their families. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the capacity to remain calm and professional in fast‑paced or crisis situations. Basic cash handling skills for accurately accepting payments and providing change. Proficiency in relevant software and tools, ability to work independently, maintain client confidentiality, and foster effective working relationships. Spanish speaking skills are a valuable bonus.
