GI Surgery Bariatric Clinic Registered Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift, 5 days a week, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
The GI Surgery Bariatric Clinic Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing bariatric surgeries. This role involves direct patient interaction, assessment, and care coordination in an ambulatory clinic setting. The nurse may float to like units as needed and will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in a bariatric surgery clinic.
Administer medications and manage patient care plans.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care delivery.
Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes.
Educate patients and families about procedures and health management.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required; 3+ years preferred.
Ambulatory clinic experience is preferred.
GI Surgery or Surgical Experience is desired.
Current South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA only).
