Billing Supervisor – Revenue Operations

Premier Global Law Firm | Washington, DC | Hybrid
Salary: $120,000–$150,000 + Year-End Discretionary Bonus

We are seeking an experienced Billing Supervisor – Revenue Operations to join a premier global law firm in Washington, DC. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a highly experienced team of eight billing professionals while managing your own billing partners.

Position Highlights

• Compensation: $120,000–$150,000 + discretionary year-end bonus
• Hybrid: 3 days in-office / 2 days remote after initial training

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor eight billing professionals, ensuring timely and accurate work.
• Manage assigned billing partners and serve as a resource for complex billing matters.
• Work directly with attorneys, management, staff, and clients to prepare invoices and resolve billing issues.
• Monitor billing and collection cycles, including attorney and client follow-up.
• Oversee client and matter billing setup, including rates, paying entities, and tax requirements.
• Support quarterly inventory campaigns, year-end collections, inventory management, and e-billing coordination.
• Prepare and analyze complex billing requests and participate in partner and management meetings regarding financial inventory.
• Ensure compliance with billing policies, procedures, regulations, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of law firm e-billing experience
• 3+ years of supervisory, management, team lead, or team coordination experience in billing, accounting, finance, banking, or a related field
• 5+ years of overall accounting, billing, or finance experience
• Experience with Elite 3E, Elite, Aderant, iManage, or similar systems
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with attorneys, management, staff, and clients

Schedule & Benefits

The position requires five days on-site during the initial 2–3 weeks of training , transitioning to a 3-day in-office / 2-day remote hybrid schedule .
