Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental and emotional well-being.

• Formulating individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client input, addressing their specific needs and goals.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions with a diverse client base to tackle a wide range of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to relational issues.

• Leading couples therapy sessions focused on enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and building stronger relationships.

• Regularly reviewing and adjusting treatment plans to ensure they remain relevant to clients’ progress and evolving circumstances.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and case histories in compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide integrated and holistic patient care.

• Delivering crisis intervention services to clients in acute distress, ensuring their safety and support during emergencies.

• Staying current with the latest research and best practices within the field to provide clients with effective treatment options.

• Participating in ongoing professional development and training sessions to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will engage a broad spectrum of clientele, including teenagers, adults, and couples from diverse backgrounds. You will address various issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, trauma, and life transitions, catering your therapeutic approach to the unique perspectives and needs of each individual.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and/or couples therapy, demonstrating solid clinical skills.

• Proficiency in completing thorough client assessments and maintaining detailed progress documentation.
