Solutions Specialist

Job Overview The Solutions Specialist will connect clients with efficient, tailored logistics solutions, combining B2B sales, strategic planning, and problem-solving to drive profitable freight volumes and deliver exceptional customer service. Primary Responsibilities Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet customers in person on a regular basis and cultivate positive relationships with traffic persons, purchasing agents, production supervisors, sales representatives, executives, distributors, and agents who influence routing decisions. Keep customers informed of new service points and company service improvements. Assist customers in obtaining rate agreements and submit requests to pricing coordinators via the T‑1 Pricing Information Form. Regularly review major accounts to ensure On‑Time service promises are met. Complete monthly customer activity reports to assess current business levels. Provide information on rates and rate changes. Submit weekly itineraries for coverage areas to maximize visitation efficiency. Maintain positive relationships with drivers in the area and discuss potential leads. Communicate customers’ equipment requirements and hours of service to the service center operations. Inform customers of Speed Service and Expedited capabilities. Manage transportation and entertainment expenses in a weekly expense report. Record daily sales calls and enter them in the computer system. Handle customer complaints through appropriate channels. Obtain a maximum volume of profitable freight in the territory. Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 2+ years in B‑B sales or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record: no more than 4 moving violations or chargeable accidents in the past 3 years, no more than 2 in the past 12 months, and no DWI/DUI convictions in the past 4 years.
