Food Service Cafeteria Helper

Food Service Worker Position: Cafeteria Helper, Part‑Time 5.25 hours per day Salary: $13.73 to $14.94 per hour (Per Negotiated Agreement) Responsibilities: Set up food counters. Assist in preparing food for breakfast and lunch. Understand and implement “Offer vs. Serve”. Interact positively with students and staff in a friendly and kind manner at all times. Serve students with the ability to operate a point of sale computerized system. Monitor determination of reimbursable meals at point of service. Handle money accurately. Frequently lift and move up to 30 pounds. Follow proper sanitation procedures when cleaning tables and equipment. Follow proper handwashing and glove procedures. Perform daily cleaning of kitchen, serving area, storage area, equipment, and washing of dishes. Assist cooks with duties as assigned with minimal supervision. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Food Service Office. Qualifications: High School Diploma or G.E.D. minimum. Ability and knowledge to perform assigned duties. Experience with food service. Cash register experience preferred. Successful completion of Manager Certification for Food Safety within the established time frame. #J-18808-Ljbffr Young World Physical Education
