Kenworth Northeast is looking for a motivated and reliable Warranty Administrator to work at our Syracuse, NY location. The Warranty Administrator assists in the coordination and communication of the Warranty Department; performs a variety of administrative tasks related to the processing of warranty claims.

*Pay range is $25-$35/hour*

Responsibilities:

• Files all warranty claims for the outside parts salesmen; files all warranty claim hard copy in chassis files or the applicable engine claim files.
• Files warranty claims - various customers to be determined.
• Follows-up on all warranty claims; calls DSM to get policy for customer, files pre-approved policy request when it applies.
• Works with Paccar Warranty Analyst when no problem found, claim denied or any extenuating situations in which a claim should get paid.
• Processes pre-delivery inspection (PDI) forms when truck is sold and forwards completed form to required department.
• Acknowledges warranty claims and packing slips.
• Prints daily warranty receivables and sends to stores for review; posts statements/credit memos as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the heavy duty or automotive industry a plus.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Must be organized, detail oriented and self-motivated.
• May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
