Travel RN – Neuroscience / Surgical ICUSchedule: 12-hour nightsAssignment Details:Contract Length: 13 weeks or longerRequirements:2 years of ICU/critical care experienceACLS certificationBCLS certificationNIH certificationFamiliarity with ICP monitoring/EVD careVentilator management experienceExperience in stroke/CVA and post-neurosurgery careAbility to titrate vasoactive and sedative dripsArterial/central line management skillsABG interpretation skillsAbility to recognize/manage dysrhythmias and seizuresRoles & Responsibilities:Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a neuroscience and surgical ICU setting.Monitor patient vital signs and adjust treatment plans accordingly.Manage invasive lines and monitor intracranial pressure (ICP).Administer medications and IV fluids, including titration of drips.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Recognize and manage medical emergencies, including seizures and acute stroke symptoms.Compliance / Notes:Up to 7 days of time off pre-approved (no holidays).Must work 2 of 3 major holidays.No time off during the first week.All time off must be pre-approved.EKG testing required before start.Candidate must go into the lab within 48 hours after signing for pre-start testing.Client Details:City: Winston SalemState: NC
