About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to join their mission-driven, community-based organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the future of healthcare, with a focus on serving member health with excellence and dignity. This role involves collaboration with providers, community partners, and local stakeholders to ensure the value and needs of each member are respected. The CEO will work in partnership with the Board of Directors, executive leadership, and business unit heads to establish strategic objectives, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, the CEO will be the principal contact with community leaders, providers, and regulatory agencies, and will have oversight of all aspects of the organization. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, with a preference for a Master’s degree in health administration or a related field. A minimum of 8 years' experience in administering prepaid health delivery systems or a similar role is required, with a strong background in health plan management, managed care dynamics, business planning, financial management, and public policy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading a large, complex organization and working with a governing board or within a public health plan. The role demands the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships, work independently, and lead multi-program teams. The CEO will also be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, managing the organization's operations, and promoting a positive work environment.
