Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Our client is a commercial real estate law firm with sophisticated, dynamic, and challenging work and outstanding clients. They are seeking a paralegal to join their high-volume and growing transactional real estate practice.
As one of their paralegals, you will work with their firm’s attorneys and paralegals on sophisticated real estate and financing transactions from start to finish. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with strong organizational, writing, and analytical skills who is eager to develop expertise in commercial real estate. Their firm handles unique, complex, and highly customized transactions; as such, the right candidate will thrive on analytical and detail-oriented and deadline-driven work that is constantly evolving.
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with CRE transactional experience.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Demonstrates mastery in CRE transactions (title reviews, title commitments, survey reviews, loan documents and commercial closings.
- Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable
- Communicates clearly and professionally in writing and in person
- Can manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision
- Is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced legal setting
- Can reliably commute to Wilmington, DE five days per week.
In this role, you will develop a strong working knowledge of:
- Title work, including the review of title searches and preparation of title commitments and title insurance policies.
- Preparation of closing and conveyance documents, including deeds, transfer tax affidavits, and settlement statements.
- Document recording procedures and Secretary of State filings.
- Calculation and proration of various closing costs.
