Speech Language Pathologist

Certified – Teaching – Speech‑Language Pathologist The Speech Language Pathologist provides speech‑language therapy to assigned pupils as mandated by their IEP. Full‑time, part‑time, and fee‑for‑service positions available. Responsibilities Deliver services as mandated by Individualized Education Plans Create and maintain all required documentation Participate as part of the educational/clinical team for each student Apply best, evidence‑based practice methods Demonstrate professional knowledge of children with developmental disabilities Collaborate and effectively communicate with families Track data and make data‑based decisions Assess student progress on a regular basis Adhere to The Summit Center Core Agency Values of Adaptability, Accountability, Collaboration, Integrity, Optimism, and Respect Education & Experience Master's Degree in Communication Disorders and/or Sciences or Speech Language Pathology. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations NYS Licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist; NYS Certified Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or NYS Certified Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD).
