Project Manager III

JobSummary TheProjectManagerIIIplaysacriticalroleinoverseeingprojectsandensuringtheirsuccessfulexecution,withastrongemphasisonschedulingandfinancialoversight.Thisindividualwillberesponsiblefordevelopingandmanagingprojecttimelinestoensurealldeadlinesaremet,coordinatingwithsubcontractorstofacilitateanefficientworkflow,andoverseeingprojectbudgetsthroughcostmonitoringandfinancialanalysis.Inaddition,theProjectManagerIIIwillworkcloselywithestimatorstoaidingatheringinformationandstreamlinethereviewprocessofbids,ensuringthatallrelevantdataisconsideredforinformeddecision-making.Throughouttheprojectlifecycle,theProjectManagerIIIwillcollaboratewithotherprojectmanagers,superintendentsandclientstomaintainsatisfactionandtrackprogress.Ultimately,thisroleisfocusedonguidingprojectstosuccessfulcompletioninpartnershipwithSuperintendentsandtheGeneralManager. ResultsMatter. Planningandcoordinatingfieldoperationsandadministrativeworkacrossmultipleprojectsatoncewhilecontinuouslyseekingtoimproveourvalueproposition.
Respectandengage. CommunicatefrequentlyandprofessionallywiththeGeneralManager,projectmanagers,superintendents,foreman,suppliers,andcustomersregardingitemssuchasjobcostanalystsandjobprogressregularly.
Protectfamilyandfriends. MaintainaSafetyCulturethatfostersazero-incidentenvironmentforpeopletocometoworkeverydayandperformtheirbest.Communicatewithopenness,innovation,ideasharing,messagingandactionsthatkeepssafetyandfirstandforemostinpeople'sminds.

Requirements,EducationandExperience

10+yearsofrelevantconstructionexperience
ExperiencemanagingNYSDOT&VAOTprojects>$10million.
4-yeardegreeinConstructionManagementorCivilEngineering,preferred
Strongunderstandingofmilling,paving,andheavyexcavationoperations.
StrongknowledgeofCPMScheduling,costestimationandbudget,contractmanagement,procurement,safety,stake-holderandclientcommunication,costcontrolandfinancialoversight.
ExperiencewithB2WproductsandVistaViewpoint.

Abilitytoworkinafast-pacedenvironment

WorkEnvironment/PhysicalDemands Thisismostlysedentaryoutsideoftravelingtoconstructionsites.Thisroleroutinelyusesstandardofficeequipmentsuchascomputers,phones,photocopiers.Thejobwillrequirefrequenttravelinginthefieldandvariousconstructionsites.Thiswouldrequiretheabilitytositatadesk,frequentwalking,bendorstandasnecessary.Heavyworkthatincludesmovingobjectsupto50lb.ormore.Thispositionworksonornearmovingmechanicalpartsandloudequipment.Requirestheabilitytositorstandforlongperiodsoftimeaswellaslifting,pulling,bending,kneeling,squatting,climbing,walking,reaching,driving,andrepetitivemotion.
