As a champion of the risk and control environment, you will drive the integration of risk management into the daily heartbeat of the business./ppResponsibilities:/pulliEducate and monitor the business on policy requirements and provide tools/job aids for compliance./liliIdentify and implement controls for operational, financial, and compliance risks while maintaining the risk library./liliConduct assessments and design reviews to identify weaknesses and optimize control efficiency./liliExecute testing plans and monitor the environment for continuous improvement./liliProduce monthly reports on risk and complaint data to inform stakeholders./liliLead remediation projects specifically targeting customer complaints and service recovery./liliDrive project completion by implementing standardized workflows and exception reporting for critical processes./liliDevelop and update SOPs across departments, ensuring alignment with internal policies and external regulations./liliTrain staff on established procedures to ensure strict adherence and operational consistency./li/ulpBasic Qualification:/pulliHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification/liliAt least 2 years of experience in Financial Services, Compliance, Internal Audit, or Risk Management/liliAt least 2 years of experience in process management or developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/liliAt least 1 year of experience in Control Testing or Risk Management/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliBachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology/lili4+ years of experience in Financial Services or Risk Management/li/ulpAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position./ppThe minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location.
