About the Role In FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance segment we focus on our clients’ strategic, operational, financial, and labor needs by addressing the full spectrum of unique challenges faced by our clients across all industries. We are currently seeking a Senior Director, Human Capital for our Global Human Capital team. This team helps our clients in the pursuit of increased efficiency and effectiveness of the most critical asset – their people The FTI Global Human Capital team is a rapidly growing practice that brings together deep technical expertise in compensation & benefits, organizational design, workforce management and transformation, and labor negotiations to help our clients make informed decisions, focusing on organizational and people‑related challenges that materially impact enterprise valuation and business stability. What You’ll Do In FTI Consulting’s Global Human Capital segment we work closely with clients and internal teams on workforce‑related matters spanning the full lifecycle of restructuring, M&A, and business transformation. This role will provide technical expertise and analysis at an advanced level; applying a strategic mindset, cross‑functional expertise, and deep workforce knowledge in the following ways: Lead workforce‑related engagements, often for organizations with large and complex ‘front-line’ populations, that help our clients align their people strategy with business objectives. Advise clients on workforce productivity and utilization strategies that drive cost efficiency while maintaining service quality and operational reliability. Conduct labor diagnostics including current‑state size/shape/cost, supply/demand modelling, and scenario planning to identify current and future workforce risks and opportunities. Analyze workforce utilisation data to identify inefficiencies, capacity constraints, and opportunities to redeploy or upskill talent more effectively. Translate complex workforce data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic decision‑making, and present these recommendations to senior stakeholders and executives. Identify patterns in absenteeism, attrition, and workload distribution to surface root causes to support in the identification of efficiency opportunities. Develop high‑level business cases for transformation opportunities, quantifying the productivity and financial impact of proposed changes. Support clients in adopting resource planning capabilities that support an analytics‑based approach to aligning resource delivery to demand requirements. Manage project workstreams end‑to‑end, ensuring delivery is on time, and to a high quality standard. Build and maintain trusted relationships with mid‑to‑senior client stakeholders. Contribute to the growth of the Global Human Capital practice by supporting proposals, pitches, and thought leadership development. In addition to workforce related engagements, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to large‑scale restructurings and other Human Capital initiatives as they arise to gain a variety of skills toward becoming a more well‑rounded practitioner. What You Will Need To Succeed Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline involving quantitative analysis. 7+ years in large‑workforce industry, Consulting, or similar/related environment. This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices. Preferred Qualifications Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and conceptual skills. Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Compensation Minimum Pay: $109,000 Maximum Pay: $224,000 Compensation Disclosure: The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role. Actual compensation is determined based on a wide array of relevant factors including market considerations, business needs, and an individual’s location, skills, level of experience, and qualifications.
