Civil Engineer - Land Development - Downtown Atlanta

We are recruiting on purpose a Civil Engineer – Land Development in The Old Fourth Ward Atlanta, GA. Seeking a motivated Civil Engineer with experience in land development to join its growing team. This role involves managing and designing site development projects from concept through completion, including commercial, infill residential, and municipal developments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical design skills and the ability to coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage land development design projectsPrepare site layouts, grading plans, drainage and stormwater designsDevelop utility layouts and erosion control plansCoordinate with clients, surveyors, contractors, and internal teamsAssist with permitting and regulatory approvalsSupport project delivery from concept through constructionQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum 4+ years of land development experienceGeorgia PE license or EIT working toward licensureProficiency in Civil3D or similar civil design softwareStrong communication and project management skillsThis position offers a collaborative work environment, flexible work hours, and opportunities for professional growth and leadership within a well-established engineering firm.
