Sr. Accountant

DescriptionOur client, a well‑established and growing construction organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the day‑to‑day accounting operations and month‑end close process. This role will play a key part in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, preparing financial reconciliations, and supporting accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting skills, experience in a‑large corporate environment, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced setting.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post month‑end close journal entries, accruals, and adjustmentsPerform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completenessMaintain and manage the general ledger, including account analysis and variance explanationsSupport monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close activities in accordance with internal deadlinesAssist with financial reporting and ad hoc accounting analysis as neededCollaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processesUtilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data, build schedules, and support reporting needsContribute to process improvements and documentation of accounting proceduresThis role is located in Denver, Colorado and is 100% on site. To be considered must be local in Colorado.
