Job Title: RN: ICU Location: Towson, MD Setting: Acute Care Hospital ICU Pay Range: $1800 - $2000 weekly gross Schedule: 12-Hour Nights, 7p-7:30a / Every other weekend, every other holiday Contract Length: 13 Weeks Candidate Type: Local or Travel

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as an RN
• Must have previous travel experience
• Qualified applicants MUST have at least 2 years of experience in the ICU
• Valid Registered Nursing license
• Be willing to obtain MD or compact state licensure

Responsibilities:

• Manages daily patient assignment by appropriately setting priorities.
• Anticipates need for intervention by other disciplines.
• Compiles database and formulates nursing diagnosis.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer treatments and document outcomes.
• Determines priorities for patient care needs or problems.
• Reassesses the patient as indicated by changes in condition and/ or response to treatment(s)
• Initiates and updates a written nursing plan of care for patients by incorporating scientific and psychosocial principles that support the nursing diagnosis.
• Incorporates information obtained from nursing care planning conferences into written nursing plan of care.
• Coordinates patient, family, significant other, and health team members in the planning of hospital and post-discharge care.
• If competent, serve as a charge RN and monitor productivity/patient flow
