Project Accountant | Commercial Construction | Dallas We're working with a well established general contractor in the Dallas area that's adding a Project Accountant to their team. This is a good fit for someone who's already comfortable with the mechanics of project accounting in a GC environment with project work spanning healthcare, education, aviation, and general commercial. What You'll Do Managing job costing and cost coding across an active project portfolio Processing owner billings, with full backup documentation required Handling subcontractor pay applications, tracking lien waivers and maintaining compliance Reconciling job cost reports and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy Processing change orders, budget transfers and job cost transfers Working closely with project teams to keep financials accurate and current Supporting month end close processes tied to the project billing cycles What You'll Bring Good level of project accounting experience within a construction or GC environment Solid understanding of job costing and owner billing cycles Comfortable working with project teams The ability to take ownership of your workload with a self-starter attitude Package Competitive base salary circa $75,000 - $95,000 depending on experience Hybrid working schedule after probationary periodFull benefits package Long term opportunity with professional development opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr We Search People
