$20.00-$22.00/hour
Monday-Friday | Flexible Day Schedule | Onsite

Diversified Sourcing Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a growing company in Waco, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of accounts payable or accounting experience who is eager to grow their career. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and has strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and accurately enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.
• Process vendor payments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Reconcile accounts payable records and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
• Assist with financial reporting and other accounting functions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Accounts Payable, Accounting, or related office experience (more experience is a plus).
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to use a computer and other office equipment throughout the day.
• Ability to lift and move typical office supplies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and vendors.
• Ability to occasionally walk through the production facility when needed.

Work Environment

• Primarily an office environment.
• Occasional exposure to a manufacturing/production setting.
• Minimal exposure to workplace hazards.
