This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, solving a wide range of technical issues, and collaborating with a dynamic, team-oriented group.This position is based in our office and involves frequent communication with clients. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you will serve as a trusted point of contact for technical support.What does your day/week look like?Provide technical support for Microsoft core business applications, cloud services, and virtual environmentsPerform remote troubleshooting of workstations, servers, and network infrastructureManage and support disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity solutionsConfigure, maintain, and troubleshoot networking equipment, including WAN/LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security systemsImplement and support remote access solutions such as VPN, Terminal Services, and CitrixMaintain accurate documentation of hardware, software, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on incident status, upcoming changes, and scheduled outagesQualificationsWhat do you need for this amazing opportunity?Strong team orientation with the ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative environmentExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including professional phone etiquette and active listeningTechnical awareness with the ability to assess issues, align appropriate resources, and advise clients on effective business solutionsSolid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across a range of technical issuesIndustry certifications such as Microsoft MCP or CompTIA A+ preferredAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferredWorking knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server platforms, including Microsoft 365 (Office 365)Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Microsoft 365 administrationFamiliarity with Mac OS environmentsExperience supporting industry-specific applications (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or other AEC tools)Who are We?M3 Technology Consultants, headquartered in Fairfax, VA, was founded in 2003 and has grown into a dynamic and rapidly expanding IT services provider.
