Deputy Program Manager

We are seeking a competent project manager to undertake a variety of administrative and program management tasks, who will have the opportunity to impact our process, providing actionable and meaningful information, increase the business acumen, and help navigate the organization through change. This role will be instrumental in the success of multiple projects, as a key member of the program management team. Responsibilities Coordinates product sustainment activities with external customers and internal functional areas including engineering, production control and manufacturing. Coordinates with stakeholders in the products under development (product management, engineering, manufacturing, customer support) as product moves through all phases from concept to production Monitors project schedule and cost by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements Identifies and recommends solutions to problems that may impact project cost, schedule or product specific objectives Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems Assists Sr Program Manager in reviewing project costs Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions Maintains safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Assists in creating PMR slides for upcoming PMRs & tracks Cost Status Reports Ability to input invoices and deliverables to the Wide Area Workflow Tracks and maintains contracts and their period of performance Alerts Senior Program Manager or deputy when contracts are in need of attention (i.e. updated, increase cost or period of performance.) Backup liaison to the DCMA for getting deliverables to the customer Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent in work experience 5+ years of Project and Team Management; Process Improvement; Strong personal project management skills PMP certification preferred Selected candidates must be able to obtainand maintain aSecret security clearance issued by the U.S. Government throughout the course of their employment Please review our benefits here: Life at OSI Pay may range from $109,000 to $117,000 annually The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations. Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
