We are seeking an experienced Senior Inspection Engineer / CWI Welding Inspector to perform source inspections, welding inspections, supplier quality surveillance, and quality audits at manufacturing facilities throughout the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and verifying compliance with project specifications, engineering drawings, quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and applicable industry codes and standards.

Location

United States (locations in multiple states) – preference to Atlanta or Charlotte based candidates.

Travel Requirement

>90% travel throughout the United States southeast region with frequent visits to supplier and fabrication facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Source inspection and manufacturing surveillance
• Welding inspection and verification of WPS, PQR and WPQ records
• NDT coordination and report review
• Supplier quality audits and assessments
• Documentation review including MTCs, NDT reports, calibration records and MRBs
• Preparation of inspection reports and NCRs
• Client and supplier interface management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Welding, Metallurgical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5–10 years of experience in source inspection, welding inspection, QA/QC, supplier quality or manufacturing quality control
• Experience with pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, structural steel, valves, pumps, compressors and oil & gas equipment
