If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.ExperienceOne year relevant experience, preferred.Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. Acute care nursing experience preferredStrong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skillsPassion for helping patients achieve recovery goals and improve quality of lifeWhat You'll Do: Provide nursing care for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and traumatic injuriesMonitor patient conditions, manage pain, and support post-operative recoveryEducate patients and families on recovery plans, mobility goals, and discharge instructionsCollaborate with orthopedic surgeons, therapists, case managers, and care team membersAssist patients in achieving mobility and rehabilitation milestonesCoordinate care to ensure safe, efficient transitions from hospital to home or rehabilitation settingsDeliver compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes positive outcomes and patient satisfaction
