Social Media Designer

Supporting a key food brand client during a 3+ month maternity leave, the temporary part-time Social Media Designer will create high-performing organic content and refine visual identities while working mostly remotely with occasional onsite meetings in NYC. Key Responsibilities Design and produce monthly organic social content tailored for maximum engagement across various platforms Define, update, and maintain the brand's social-first visual identity, including templates and asset libraries Ensure all visual output aligns with the brand's marketing strategy and social voice, collaborating closely with stakeholders for feedback and iteration Required Qualifications Proven track record of designing content specifically for social media platforms, with food/beverage experience as a plus Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and Canva; experience with motion graphics or video editing tools is a bonus Deep familiarity with current social media trends, platform formats, and emerging visual styles Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate quickly while presenting ideas clearly Located in or near the NYC area for occasional onsite meetings
