Our Aerospace and Defense Operation located in Chelmsford, MA is growing and focused on the manufacture and test of highly complex, low to medium-volume microwave electronics./ppSummary :/ppThe Manufacturing Supervisor leads a team of microelectronic test technicians. This supervisor reports to operations management and is responsible for quality of work, prioritization of work, communication, and completion of goals as determined with operations management, team leads, and planning. This is a fully on-site 2nd shift position with hours of 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM and is eligible for shift differential./ppResponsibilities:/pulliDirectly support and supervise non-exempt employees./liliProvide guidance, training and support to team members, monitoring performance to goals, organizing equipment and fixtures and ensuring staffing targets are met./liliGenerate and communicate critical information to management and employees regarding factory and program status. Using visual factory and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) tracks products, setting priorities/liliSolve routine problems to ensure that product teams can meet performance goals: Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Delivery. Determine when to stop a process if risks to product quality or safety occur./liliPrepare and deliver daily reports on equipment, personnel status, and operational challenges or solutions to engineering and management./liliSupport daily tie-offs with other shifts and groups as necessary./liliAdhere to all safety policies and procedures./liliTreat all employees, customers, suppliers and co-workers with dignity and respect. Embrace diversity and address unconscious bias in the workplace./li/ulpRequirements :/pulliUS Citizen - willing and able to obtain Secret Government security clearance/liliMinimum of five years experience in electronics manufacturing, Previous experience maintaining a supervisory/leadership position is preferred./liliHigh School Diploma/GED Required, Progress toward an AS or BS in Engineering or Business is preferred./liliStrong expertise in MIL-STD-883/IPC-A-610 standards, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and RF signal sources./liliHands-on experience in test and tuning of RF modules./liliAble to create a team environment among co-workers by motivating and encouraging positive morale and teamwork, leading by example./liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, positive attitude./liliProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; familiarity with MES tools./liliExperience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Shingo, and other Enterprise Excellence initiatives preferred./liliSkilled in microscope use and troubleshooting technical issues./liliStrong judgment and problem-solving abilities./liliThis is a second shift position with standard hours of 3:00 - 11:30pm, Monday Friday and is eligible for a shift differential./li/ulpAnalog Devices is an equal opportunity employer.
