Events Coordinator

Our client, a leading organization in site operations and community engagement, is seeking a Events Coordinatorto join their team. As a Events Coordinator, you will be part of the Site Operations Department supporting the Engineering Site Leadership team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Events Coordinator Location: Charlotte, NC Pay Range: $22-$24/hr Duration: 9 months (potential to extend) What's the Job? Support the Engineering Site Leadership team by driving site operations and community engagement initiatives. Plan and execute site events, including logistics, vendor coordination, and stakeholder engagement. Coordinate communications, newsletters, and manage operational budgets. Collaborate with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and nonprofit partners to foster community involvement. Maintain operational excellence across the site through effective management and organization. What's Needed? Strong verbal and written communication skills. Availability to commit to a 12-month assignment, with 18 months preferred. Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams and leadership levels. Experience supporting events, logistics, site operations, or community engagement programs.
