Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk Job Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour. As a member of the accounting team, this position will compile and maintain accounts payable records. What you will be doing: Verifies and matches invoices, receiving records and purchase orders. Verifies general ledger coding or assigns appropriate coding when necessary. Posts invoices through computer systems. Answers all vendor inquiries and work closely to solve any invoice problems. Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files. Trouble shoots problems involving receivers and invoices. Sorts mail daily and distributes to appropriate Accounts Payable Clerk. Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Works with Internal departments to get invoices approved and coded. What we are looking for: Associate degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or three years relevant experience and/or training. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Experience working with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) and experience with AS400, JD Edward system and Perceptive preferred. The employee is occasionally required to lift/pull/push up to 25 pounds. Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.
