Accounts Payable Specialist-Contract to Hire- Pay up to $28/HR (DOE)
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday: In office, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Friday: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
Process invoices, credit memos, and employee expense reports
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, past-due invoices, and statement balance issues
Support vendors and internal stakeholders with payment and account inquiries
Review vendor aging reports and monitor account balances
Generate and review payment runs, including ACH and wire payments
Process voids, stop payments, and positive pay exceptions
Set up and maintain vendor records
Verify vendor information, including W-8 and W-9 documentation
Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Assist with special projects and additional accounting support as needed
What They're Looking For:
1+ years of Accounts Payable or invoice processing experience
Experience working within accounting systems and Excel
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
