Job Type: 12-month contract w/extensions Insight Global is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to support and modernize a large global enterprise infrastructure. This person will lead Azure migration efforts, manage Windows and Microsoft 365 environments, strengthen security posture, and serve as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues. The environment spans multiple domestic and international locations, requiring experience supporting large-scale enterprise systems. The pay range for this role is $35 - $40/hr. RESPONSIBILITIES Administer and support enterprise Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, and virtualization environments Lead and support Azure cloud migration initiatives Manage Active Directory, Entra ID, and Group Policy environments Strengthen infrastructure security through patching, vulnerability remediation, and security tool administration Monitor and maintain approximately 400 servers across the enterprise Create and maintain infrastructure documentation and operational procedures Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives Serve as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (1 week per month) Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and business teams to drive modernization efforts REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 7+ years of enterprise Systems Administration experience Azure administration and cloud migration experience Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 expertise VMware and/or Hyper-V administration Security, patching, vulnerability remediation, and endpoint management experience Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule (1 week/month) NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Networking experience (DNS, IP management, subnetting) Microsoft Defender and Sentinel experience PowerShell scripting and automation Azure, Microsoft 365, VMware, ITIL, or related certifications Experience supporting global/multi-site environments Spanish or Portuguese language skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
