OPERATIONS GENERALIST

Warehouse/Operations Services DiVal Safety Equipment – Laurel Springs NJ DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the industrial safety, Fire, and EMS distribution business, is looking for a credible and motivated Operations Generalist with a “whatever it takes” attitude. The main responsibility of this position is to provide accurate and efficient Services & Quality Customer support with safety being a priority. Duties and Responsibilities: Always focus on safety – safety training and direction must be always adhered to. Perform required services on various lifesaving equipment including but not limited to fire extinguishers, SCBA cylinders, and compressors, according to established safety requirements. Order entry Receive and address incoming customer phone calls, e-mails and walk-in customers. Various warehouse activities, including but not limited to picking, packing, shipping orders, receiving inventory, and putting stock away. Provide accurate and dependable delivery of allocated product. Prepare and submit all necessary daily paperwork in a timely manner as required. Complete cleaning and maintenance duties as directed. Must complete daily vehicle inspection and make direct supervisor aware of any issues that might require attention. Report any existing or potential safety concerns to management. Reporting directly to Services and Warehouse Leadership in alignment with other members of the management team. Perform additional duties that may arise and assigned by management. Skills and Requirements: Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical with drug screen. Strong organizational, detail oriented, self-motivated and strong time management skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis. Valid Driver’s License (Vehicle Transit Van or 16” box truck). Experience with handheld equipment, like RF scanners, palm devices, and/or tablets (Preferred). Basic computer skills a must, AS400 experience a plus. High school diploma / GED equivalent.
