TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401!

Job Title: MS/Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred - EKG testing must be passed prior to start Description: The Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care. The RN will work in an isolation area for COVID patients and provide multi-level care, including stepdown. The RN may be required to float as needed. Every other weekend work is mandatory. Patient ratios will be 1:5-6. The contract staff may be part of a Storm Team or Hurricane Team. Contract staff will be required to report to work during catastrophic events or disasters. Daily census is approximately 41 patients. Support teams available include IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more. Special procedures include the administration of heparin drips. Management of dysrhythmias and isolation precautions is essential. The use of electronic systems for medication, documentation, and communication is required. All travelers are expected to attend hospital orientation during the first week. Breakdown of essential skills includes IV insulin protocols, wound care, and non-invasive airway management.
