Medical Assistant
GOAL FAMILY MEDICAL PC
Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. You will also triage -- obtain vital signs, EKG, urinalysis etc. Deal Breakers:
Not hardworking
Always on the phone
cannot multitask
cannot work independently
has no basic knowledge of medicine or medical jargon
not reliable
late
not a team player.
Responsibilities:
Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
Triage patients and be responsible for inventory keeping.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
Familiarity with medical billing procedures
Strong organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
A Team player
Friendly and kind
