Electronics Lab Technician

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Electronics Engineering Technician opportunities in Irvine, CA. Responsibilities for an Electronics Engineering Technician include but are not limited to: Support receiving and shipping of packages, manage material inventories, and prepare kit parts for assembly and rework. Perform PCBA modifications, including component rework, soldering/desoldering, fine-pitch IC and 0402 component soldering, and blue-wire modifications per IPC-A-610 Class 3. Build wire harnesses per IPC/WHMA-A-620C, assemble ECU modules, and set up custom test equipment according to engineering diagrams and specifications. Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of electronic circuit assemblies and engineering prototypes; maintain accurate test records and identify root causes of failures. Candidates for Electronics Engineering Technician must meet the following requirements to be considered: 3+ years of technician experience in electronics or engineering laboratories, with a Technology/Technician degree or equivalent experience. Strong electrical fundamentals with excellent soldering, PCBA rework, and wire harnessing skills; ability to solder fine-pitch ICs and 0402 components. Experience using electronic test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, electronic loads (e-loads), and power supplies. Strong technical and troubleshooting abilities with experience reading engineering diagrams/specifications; proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project). EV experience, Jira, Python scripting, and IPC certifications are a plus. What's in this Electronics Engineering Technician position for you?
