Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Laser Operators for a manufacturing company in Maple Grove, MN. In this role, you'll help produce high-quality sheet metal components while supporting efficient production operations in a safety-focused environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern CNC laser cutting equipment and collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Fabrication teams to deliver quality products on time. What You'll Do as a Laser Operator:

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment to produce sheet metal parts
• Load and unload metal materials safely and efficiently
• Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished parts to verify quality and dimensional specifications
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and engineering drawings
• Maintain accurate production records and support workflow productivity
• Perform basic machine maintenance, daily equipment checks, and housekeeping duties

What You Need to Bring to the Laser Operator Role:

• Previous CNC laser operation or metal fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production documents
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to use measuring tools and perform quality inspections
• Ability to follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift
• Ability to work effectively with team members and meet production deadlines
