Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time/Flexible Working Hours Compensation: $180,000 – $300,000+ Annually, Depending on Experience + Performance Bonus + Equity Opportunities Position Summary Aveniya is seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company's financial operations and long-term financial strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and play a critical role in driving sustainable growth, operational efficiency, capital planning, and business expansion. This remote executive position requires a hands-on leader with expertise in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, budgeting, forecasting, fundraising, financial reporting, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has experience supporting high-growth technology, manufacturing, engineering, medical device, or industrial organizations. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with business objectives. Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team. Provide financial insights that support strategic planning and growth initiatives. Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Financial Planning & Analysis Develop financial models, forecasts, and performance metrics. Monitor key financial indicators and provide recommendations to improve profitability. Analyze business performance and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization. Present financial reports and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders. Accounting & Compliance Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable financial regulations. Manage audits, tax planning, and regulatory reporting requirements. Maintain strong financial governance and risk management practices. Capital Management & Fundraising Support capital raising initiatives, investor relations, and financing activities. Evaluate funding opportunities and strategic investment initiatives. Manage banking relationships and financial partnerships. Lead financial due diligence activities related to partnerships, acquisitions, or investments. Operational & Strategic Support Partner with operations, engineering, supply chain, and business development teams to improve organizational performance. Support commercialization efforts, scaling initiatives, and market expansion strategies. Evaluate financial risks and develop mitigation plans. Drive process improvements and financial systems optimization. Leadership & Team Development Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Establish scalable financial processes that support organizational growth. Promote professional development and succession planning. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred. 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior executive-level responsibility. Strong experience in financial planning, corporate finance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, technology, industrial, or medical device organizations. Demonstrated success managing financial operations within high-growth environments. Advanced knowledge of GAAP, financial controls, and regulatory compliance. Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
