Job Overview A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate with over three years of sophisticated M&A transaction experience in the insurance brokerage industry to join their Corporate Practice Group in Chicago, IL. This position offers the flexibility of remote work. Duties Manage sophisticated M&A transactions in the insurance brokerage sector. Handle both buy-side and sell-side traditional M&A transactions. Support clients in complex insurance brokerage transactions using industry knowledge. Collaborate with private equity-backed national and regional insurance agencies. Contribute to diverse substantive matters across different teams. Requirements 3+ years of M&A experience in the insurance brokerage industry. Experience with capital raises and internal perpetuation transactions. Strong writing and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Entrepreneurial approach to practicing law. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois. Skills Proficiency in handling complex commercial agreements. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent client service orientation. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision benefits.
