Senior Accountant

Accounting ProfessionalUtilityInnovation Group is seeking a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to help shape scalable finance processes across multiple business units.As a key member of our growing finance and accounting team, you'll take ownership of core accounting activities, drive process improvements, and collaborate with business leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting. This position is hybrid and based in Fort Worth, Texas, giving you the opportunity to work closely with colleagues while maintaining flexibility.ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle accounting processes in compliance with GAAP, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, intercompany transactions, and fixed assetsLead month-end close activities and support project accountingPrepare and analyze reports such as ad hoc financial analysis, bank reconciliations, and cash balance forecastsDrive process improvements by documenting, standardizing, and enhancing accounting procedures and efficienciesEnsure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policiesSupport audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiriesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate recording of transactions that support project accounting and the monthly close processQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environmentStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standardsExperience with intercompany reconciliations and foreign currency transactions (preferred)Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detailExcellent time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced settingStrong written and verbal communication skillsCPA designation (preferred)What We OfferThe opportunity to make a measurable impact in a growing companyDirect exposure to leadership and multiple business unitsA collaborative, fast-paced, and growth-oriented culture focused on excellenceCompetitive health & wellness plans401(k) retirement plan with company contribution
