As a New Home Sales Consultant, you will guide customers through every step of the purchasing process and help them find their dream home. Our company has welcomed over 60,000 customers to new homes and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, selling in markets including Atlanta, Austin, Charleston, Dallas, Houston, Jacksonville, Nashville, Myrtle Beach, Orlando, Phoenix, Raleigh, San Antonio, and Tampa. Position Overview This is a commission‑based role . You will learn the Starlight (and Ashton Woods) sales process, provide outstanding customer service, and contribute to a culture of integrity, bold action, and collective compassion. Responsibilities Deliver excellent customer service through inbound phone calls, educating interested parties about our products, setting appointments, and answering questions professionally. Develop, practice, and deliver effective sales presentations consistent with company training. Maintain high activity levels: engage new prospects, follow up, and set appointments to close. Respond to customer queries promptly and efficiently. Maintain open communication with Starlight and Ashton Woods team members. Attend and actively participate in weekly meetings. Communicate with the Sales Manager and present organized information on prospects. Leverage available resources to transition leads into prospective customers and follow up with those under contract. Generate referrals by upholding a high standard of customer service and satisfaction. Enter leads, appointments, and all communication into Salesforce daily. Develop and maintain relationships with realtors through office visits, networking, and business development. Other Responsibilities Present Starlight and Ashton Woods homes professionally and knowledgeably. Serve as a subject‑matter expert on the home‑building process, educating prospects on what to expect. Research community information and trends (schools, utilities, taxes, recreational areas, shopping, etc.) to provide clients with relevant data. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and align the perfect home to meet their needs. Use training modules to stay consistent with the Starlight and Ashton Woods processes and continuously improve sales delivery. Call all customers the night before loan application to ensure they have all necessary documents. Call all customers the night of the sale to congratulate them on their new home and thank them for choosing Starlight. Call all customers under contract at least once a week to maintain rapport. Respond to Starlight team phone calls and e‑mails within 24 hours. Qualifications At least 2 years of direct sales or customer‑service experience. Valid and active real‑estate license may be required, subject to state requirements. Valid/Active Driver's License. Ability to work weekends (with scheduled off days). Work onsite at the model home or mobile office within the community. Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High level of professionalism in appearance and interactions. Collaborative approach to support team success. Adaptable and flexible attitude. Capacity to handle high‑volume situations. Strong work ethic, drive, positive attitude, and decision‑making skills. Maintain an organized workspace and keep the office presentable. Typical Physical And Mental Demands Must read, write, speak English fluently, and perform calculations. Must hear and see well enough to use office equipment. Must use hands and fingers for standard office equipment. Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds. These requirements represent the essential functions of the position.
