Cable Technician - TEKsystems

Position Overview

TEKsystems is seeking a Cable Technician to support low-voltage cabling projects throughout the Nashville area, including work on the new Tennessee Titans stadium in downtown Nashville. This long-term contract is expected to run through February 2027 and will primarily involve new construction environments.

This is an intermediate-level position ideal for candidates with structured cabling, low-voltage, electrical, or construction experience who are looking to continue building their technical skills.

• Install cable pathways, cable trays, and J-hooks
• Pull and route Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling
• Terminate faceplates, jacks, and low-voltage connections
• Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of installed cabling
• Follow project drawings, installation standards, and safety procedures
• Work independently or as part of a team under the direction of an on-site lead
• Support a variety of commercial and large-scale construction projects

• Structured cabling installation
• Cat6/Cat6A cable pulling and termination
• Fiber optic cabling experience
• Cable tray and pathway installation
• Troubleshooting
• Punch-down terminations
• Cable installation and routing

• Experience in low-voltage cabling, telecommunications, electrical work, or construction preferred
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and drills
• Ability to work in active construction environments
• Reliable transportation to travel to project sites throughout the Nashville area
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated

• Primarily new construction job sites throughout Nashville
• Major projects include the new Tennessee Titans stadium and other large commercial construction sites
• Candidates may report directly to a job site or meet at the shop before traveling to project locations, depending on project needs

This is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Nashville,TN.
