The HR Manager will work directly with the CEO, VP, VP of Operations, supervisors, and leadership team while also being a trusted and approachable resource for employees.We are looking for someone who can help drive company culture, employee engagement, morale, retention, and professional development while ensuring HR policies and practices remain compliant.What You'll DoServe as the primary HR resource for approximately 150 employeesWork closely with the CEO and leadership team on HR strategy and employee needsHelp promote a positive, respectful, employee-focused company cultureBuild relationships with employees and maintain a visible presence throughout the organizationCoach supervisors and managers on employee relations, performance, communication, FMLA, accommodations, and company policiesMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulationsManage FMLA, COBRA, accommodations, benefits eligibility, STD and LTDAssist with benefits and 401(k) administrationAdminister HRIS and payroll for hourly production and temporary employeesManage employee timekeeping, new hires, terminations, and employee recordsPaylocity experience is a plusSupport workforce planning and proactive recruiting effortsAssist with annual compensation reviews and hourly wage programsReview and update job descriptionsIdentify opportunities to improve the employee lifecycle and increase retentionPartner with leadership on succession planning, training, and employee developmentConduct and coordinate supervisor training covering safety, company policies, harassment prevention, ethics, teamwork, and employee relationsHelp identify and address HR issues that could create legal or financial riskSupport safety, environmental health, benefits, and workplace security initiativesMaintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism and good judgmentWhat We're Looking For5-7+ years of progressive Human Resources experienceCurrent HR Manager experience OR a strong HR Generalist ready to advance into an HR Manager roleBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferredManufacturing or production HR experience strongly preferredWorking knowledge of employment law and HR best practicesExperience with employee relations, benefits, FMLA, accommodations, payroll, and HRISStrong communication and relationship-building skillsApproachable, compassionate, and comfortable working with employees at all levelsAbility to coach managers while also being a trusted resource for employeesStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesHigh level of integrity, discretion, and confidentialityWhy Consider This Opportunity?This isn't an HR position where you'll spend your entire day behind a desk.
