Receptionist (Full-time) - Grand Forks, ND

Horizon Health Corporation is seeking a Receptionist for or our BRAND-NEW unit called Altru Behavioral Health Center in Grand Forks, ND. This unit will be a 24-bed inpatient unit for both adult and pediatric patients . We are also planning to expand to an additional 24 beds in 2026. Altru Health System and Universal Health Services are working together in expanding inpatient behavioral health services. Utilizing multi-line telephone system, the Receptionist, answers and directs all incoming calls to appropriate personnel in a professional and timely manner. The receptionist also monitors the lobby and greets visitors

Responsibilities:

• Answers incoming telephone calls; forward calls to appropriate personnel/department in a professional, timely manner.
• Welcomes on-site visitors, maintain sign in log, issue visitor name badges and announce visitor to appropriate personnel/department.
• Screens building access using the electronic door monitoring system if applicable.
• Assists other departments with projects as time permits.
• Safety Monitoring of patients
• Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/GED required
• 0 - 1 years of related work experience
• Safety Monitoring of patients experience preferred
• Experience with a multi-line phone system
• Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Products
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
• Ability to read and comprehend simple to moderate instructions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
