Program Coordinator
The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health seeks a program coordinator to support the Street Training for Residents in Engagement, Evaluation, and Treatment (STREET) program, a federally funded grant program aimed to enhance resident physician training for people experiencing homelessness (PEH). The STREET program will implement curriculum and clinical care rotations to engage PEH in medical care and resources, evaluate PEH for medical conditions, behavioral health concerns, and substance use concerns, and provide referrals to external resources with the assistance of an interprofessional STREET team. The program coordinator will support the implementation of the STREET program by coordinating resident scheduling, didactic sessions, and rotation experiences with key stakeholders. This position is also responsible for maintaining program records required for HRSA reporting and supporting the program's continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities throughout the grant period. Key responsibilities include:
Resident Scheduling & Program Coordination
- Coordinate resident scheduling for all STREET-related rotations.
- Schedule didactic sessions for residents participating in the STREET curriculum.
- Coordinate resident rotation experiences in collaboration with key stakeholders, including faculty, clinical sites, and community partners.
- Serve as a point of contact for residents and stakeholders regarding STREET scheduling and logistics.
HRSA Reporting & Data Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records required for HRSA reporting.
- Maintain a database of STREET rotation evaluations submitted by residents.
- Track graduates of the program for a minimum of one-year post-graduation to support follow-up data collection.
- Track process and outcome measures for the STREET program.
Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)
- Maintain a database of continuous quality improvement activities conducted throughout the grant period.
- Track and report on the results of CQI activities to program leadership.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in project coordination and program administration in academic healthcare settings and/or health care training programs; strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations simultaneously; demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy; and strong written and verbal communication skills.
