Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews to gather comprehensive client histories and document cases from initial consultation through to treatment completion. This ensures a clear understanding of the client’s issues and therapeutic needs.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health through clinical assessments and structured interviews, forming the basis for individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Develop and implement tailored intervention and recovery plans for diverse client populations, including individuals, couples, families, and groups. Use evidence-based practices to guide your approach.

• Facilitate engaging and supportive individual and group therapy sessions where clients can explore their challenges and develop coping strategies in a safe environment.
\n
• Monitor client progress meticulously throughout the treatment plan, making adjustments as warranted to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.

• Conduct follow-up communications with psychiatric providers regarding clients admitted to hospitals, facilitating continuity of care.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery, addressing any negative behaviors or thought patterns that may hinder client progress.

• Equip and support family members and primary caregivers by providing guidance on managing their loved ones' mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to complex trauma and addiction. Your ability to understand and adapt to different client needs is essential in driving effective treatments and fostering a trusting therapeutic alliance.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of Arizona, with adherence to local regulations and ethical standards.

• Proven success in passing the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated prior experience working as a mental health counselor, illustrating your capability in delivering effective therapy.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, is advantageous for managing client documentation and treatment records efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
