This opportunity is based on a CNC Machinist career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.This role requires a strong blend of CNC machining expertise, programming knowledge, and quality-focused manufacturing skills.Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.Technical degree, vocational training, or certification in CNC Machining, Manufacturing Technology, Precision Machining, or a related field preferred.Training in CNC programming, CAM software, blueprint reading, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) is highly desirable.Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement.Experience RequirementsExperience with CNC machining, CNC programming, and manufacturing operations required.Proficiency with CAM software and G-code programming, including creating, editing, and optimizing CNC programs.Experience operating and setting up manual and CNC milling machines and engine lathes.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.Experience performing first-piece inspections, in-process inspections, and using precision measuring equipment.Applied EasyCAM experience, CNC controls knowledge, and injection molded parts experience are preferred.Strong communication, training, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout a manufacturing environment for extended periods.Ability to safely operate machining equipment and precision inspection tools.Manual dexterity required for machine setup, measurements, and adjustments.Ability to lift, move, and position materials, tooling, fixtures, and components as needed.Ability to maintain focus on detailed work in a fast-paced production environment.Job DutiesSet up, program, qualify, and operate manual and CNC milling centers and engine lathes.Create and modify CNC programs using CAM software and G-code programming.Manufacture precision parts from raw materials according to blueprint specifications and quality standards.Design, modify, and maintain production fixtures, tooling, and setup hardware.Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision gauges, surface plates, and measuring equipment.Train production operators on machining processes, equipment operation, and inspection procedures.Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to implement best practices and process improvements.Support cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining quality, safety, and on-time delivery performance.BenefitsCompetitive Weekly PayComprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Life and Disability Insurance for added peace of mind.Optional 401(k) Plan to help you prepare for the future.Modern Manufacturing Environment focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement."They matched me with a great job in a couple of days, and I was hired on permanently." – CNC Machinist, Louisville, KYApply Now.
