Senior IT Governance & Portfolio Management SpecialistFathom Management is seeking a Senior IT Governance & Portfolio Management Specialist to support a Federal Government client in Arlington, VA.This senior-level position supports IT governance, portfolio management, CPIC/IT investment management, strategic planning, program oversight, risk management, and executive reporting. The ideal candidate understands how technology investments align with organizational strategy, budgets, performance, and mission objectives.You may be asked to provide a photo of a government-issued identification document as part of this verification. Identification is used solely for candidate verification and will be handled in accordance with Fathom Management's privacy and security practices.What You'll DoSupport IT governance and portfolio management for enterprise technology initiatives.Evaluate IT investments, portfolio performance, priorities, risks, costs, and strategic alignment.Support CPIC / IT Investment Management activities and Federal/OMB reporting requirements.Develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, investment documentation, dashboards, and executive briefings.Support program and project governance, health assessments, performance reporting, and corrective actions.Analyze cost, schedule, risk, and performance, including EVM activities.Support enterprise architecture, IT modernization, strategic planning, and process improvement initiatives.Facilitate stakeholder meetings and communicate complex technical and organizational information to senior leadership.Support Federal governance, compliance, audit, and ServiceNow-related activities.Required QualificationsActive Secret Security ClearanceU.S. CitizenshipBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.15+ years of Federal consulting or Federal IT experience.Senior-level experience in several of the following:IT Governance / Portfolio ManagementCPIC / IT Investment ManagementFederal IT Program/Project ManagementStrategic IT Planning / Enterprise ArchitectureRisk Management / EVMBusiness Process Analysis / Organizational ImprovementExperience supporting Federal IT investment, governance, budget, reporting, or oversight activities.Experience developing business cases, investment analyses, executive reports, or briefing materials.Strong written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills.Preferred QualificationsPMP or PMI-PBAServiceNow ITSM/ITBMOMB investment management and reportingFederal IT modernizationEnterprise Architecture frameworksOrganizational Change ManagementAgile or hybrid project managementBenefits OverviewPaid vacation, sick leave, and holidaysMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insuranceShort- and long-term disability401(k)Military leaveProfessional training and developmentTuition reimbursementEmployee wellness programCommuter benefitsAnd moreEqual Employment OpportunityFathom Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
