Position: Part-Time Faculty - School of Business Location: Multiple Locations (OH) Job Id: 609 # of Openings: 10 The University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College invites applications for part‑time, non‑tenure track faculty positions in the School of Business at multiple locations including Rio Grande (main campus), Jackson, McArthur Pomeroy (Meigs Center), and Piketon (Pike Center) Ohio. Academic programs and/or courses in this school include: Accounting Banking Business Management Computer Science Economics Marketing Position Qualifications Faculty members teaching general education courses must hold a minimum of a master’s degree in the discipline or a master’s degree and a cohesive set of at least 18 semester credit hours of graduate coursework relevant to the discipline. For courses other than general education courses: At least a bachelor’s degree if teaching in an associate degree program At least a master’s degree if teaching in a bachelor’s degree program A terminal degree if teaching in a graduate program. Individuals who are making substantial progress toward meeting the faculty credentialing requirements and who are mentored by a faculty member who does meet the minimum credentialing requirements may serve as instructors during their educational programs. Faculty members teaching technically- or practice-oriented courses must have practical experience in the field and hold current licenses and/or certifications, as applicable. Must be available for day and/or evening classes. Prior teaching experience preferred.
