Capital Markets Associate Attorney
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Experience: 2–6 Years
Compensation: $250,000 – $400,000

Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Capital Markets Associate to join its dynamic and nationally recognized Corporate Practice in Los Angeles. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on high-profile transactions alongside a global team of legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on complex U.S. and cross-border capital markets transactions.

• Handle initial public offerings, high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings, and private placements.

• Work with clients such as public and private issuers, underwriters, financial institutions, venture capital funds, hedge funds, and private investment firms.

• Collaborate on securities offerings including SPACs, REITs, PIPEs, ATMs, and Regulation S offerings.

Requirements:

• 2–6 years of experience in Capital Markets or Corporate transactions.

• Strong academic credentials and excellent legal writing skills.

• Ability to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Admission to the California Bar

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in U.S. securities law and regulatory matters.

• Proven ability to assume responsibility and interact directly with clients.
